COSMIC EYE
COSMIC EYE embodies an autonomous, self-sustaining installation that intertwines human vision with the vast expanse of the universe. Drawing inspiration from the intricate interplay between the microcosm of the human retina—where every beam of light coalesces to shape our perception of reality—and the enigmatic black holes scattered throughout the cosmos—a profound mystery that engulfs everything in its gravitational pull—this project invites contemplation on the genesis of our existence and the unfathomable depths of the universe.
Crafted from recycled polypropylene and equipped with autonomous solar lights, COSMIC EYE seamlessly integrates sustainability and innovation. By harnessing solar energy during the day and illuminating with celestial brilliance at night, it serves as a beacon of eco-conscious creativity.
For two months, it is installed at Amposta Bridge, the symbol of the Spanish city of Amposta. Through its presence in this iconic location, COSMIC EYE invites locals and visitors alike to embark on a journey of reflection and wonder, bridging the gap between the tangible world and the boundless cosmos.
